Each Lutheran Marriage Encounter (LME) Weekend consists of a series of talks given in a conference room by Weekend leadership couples, including a clergy couple.  The talks center on various aspects of a marriage relationship.  After each talk, you return to your hotel room and have your own private communication on that topic ― just the two of you.

The Weekend follows a format prescribed by Worldwide Marriage Encounter which enables you, as a couple, to focus solely on your own relationship.  The program progresses from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.  Therefore, it is important that you attend the entire Weekend in order to receive the full benefit of the Weekend.

Your hotel room and meals are prearranged for you.  You will have three meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and two meals on Sunday (breakfast and noon dinner).  No meals are provided on Friday.
